These days, many of the nation’s farmers don’t quite use this idiom from the era of ‘Farmer’s Almanac.’ While the drought will affect much of the nation’s corn yield, there are some farms in Illinois that are seeing resilient corn, rising from rich soil comprised of glacial till.
